Addressing Youth Mental Health

The state of Washington has launched HearMeWA, a new crisis hotline and reporting system designed to address the national youth mental health crisis. The program allows anyone 25 and under to connect with trained counselors 24/7 to discuss challenges such as bullying, mental health issues, domestic violence, gender identity, and school threats.

First of Its Kind State Program

HearMeWA is the first statewide program that has the unique ability to track reports and provide updates. It was developed through collaboration with over 1,300 youth-centered organizations and will continue to evolve based on feedback from a dedicated advisory group.
