Repairing a toxic environment
The pageant has faced controversy after Noelia Voigt resigned as Miss USA, citing a toxic work environment and unaddressed sexual harassment. The CEO, Laylah Rose, stated she prioritizes the well-being of those involved. Miss Teen USA UmaSofia Srivastava and Miss USA’s social media manager also resigned. Savannah Gankiewicz replaced Voigt as Miss USA 2023 temporarily.
