KEY POINTS

By Pix Jonasson

I wrote this as part of my journey of healing from the childhood sexual abuse that I had endured from a very young age up to eleven years old.

I bear no malice.
What has happened has happened.
I made peace with my sister who you tortured
by sexually abusing her for many years, like me.
But you have given me hope.
You have given me strength.
You have given me COURAGE.
To be the global voice for others who can’t or won’t speak.
I truly am grateful.
I thank you.
You have contributed to making me who I am, what I do, and most importantly, why I do it.
Again, I thank you.
You enabled me to protect my own two beautiful children so they were always safe.
You also enabled me to protect others on the Mid North Coast of NSW,
and now I have a global influence and impact.
Again, I thank you.
I am not a victim, I am a victor.
I am not just a survivor, I am a thriver.
I am enabling others to thrive.
Again, I thank you.
May you long Rest in Peace so now I can long Live in Peace.
