Douglas Dobbs

Douglas has been a licensed funeral director since 1979. Originally from Chicago, he opened Dobbs Funeral Home in 1989 to serve the needs of Orlando and West Orange County. 28 years and thousands of families later, Dobbs Funeral Home is still serving needs and exceeding expectations.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science & Psychology from Purdue University and a graduate degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College, Chicago.

An avid student, Doug has studied and mastered the funeral customs of all major religions, with an emphasis on the special requirements of Protestant, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist and other faiths.
