After being in the senior living and hospitality industry for her whole career, she felt called to take her experiences and knowledge and serve those in developing nations. We all know we are in an aging crisis in the US, but few realize we are in a global aging crisis where there is no plan to care for the vulnerable and forgotten senior population. It was with this revelation Hands 4Life was born.
Hands 4Life is a nonprofit organization committed to lending a hand, not a handout. Through its innovative intergenerational educational campuses and community outreach programs, Hands 4Life bridges the gap between orphaned children and orphaned seniors, fostering deep connections and mutual support. By bringing together these two vulnerable groups, the organization creates a nurturing environment where the younger generation learns to appreciate and care for their elders, embracing the full circle of life. This unique approach provides comfort and companionship to seniors and instills a lasting sense of gratitude and empathy in children, building a stronger, more compassionate community for all.
